no files selected for shared dataset

Tried sharing a file through a dataset with a shared group (simple user sharing with admin)

User on receiving end can see and open (edit) the dataset but the file is not selected in the files multi select.

I suspect there might be a filter for user's own files on the multi select.

investigate same issue with "Share with these users" field - current user is not in select/dropdown list and therefore does not appear when updating dataset (if we hit update we can get removed from a shared dataset)
